James J. Yep BA
President and Chief Executive Officer
James is a graduate of Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Human Resource Management, and where he also served as President of the Student Chapter for the Society for Human Resource Managers. He worked for several years in Human Resource Management in an industrial setting, before joining TRIUNE Health Group in 1998. Soon, because of his natural ability in the Computer Sciences, James led a technology team in the development and implementation of TRIUNE Health Group’s proprietary Case Management and Business Software program known as Life Touch. James was promoted to Manager of the Medical Department, as his extensive years of experience building the software applications that serve our nurses the best and make their job more efficient and easier to manage, positioned him to help our Case Managers become the medical and technological leaders in the industry. James also held the title of Chief Operating Officer, which allows him to evaluate and advise the owners on all matters of service and customer relations. In 2019 with the blessing of his parents, James took over as CEO of TRIUNE Health Group.
David F. Yep
Vice President and Chief Revenue Officer
David earned an associate’s degree in classical humanities in Salamanca, Spain, completing his bachelor’s degree in philosophy and liberal arts from Regina Apostolorum in Rome, Italy. Living in Europe for 10 years, he became fluent in Spanish, Italian and German. He completed his education with a Masters Degree in Business Administration from the Acton School of Business in Austin, Texas. His determination to gain outside perspective from the family business and healthcare brought him to leadership roles in both the non-profit and manufacturing sectors, always tasked with and successfully executing on company growth strategies. David rejoined TRIUNE with the task of continuing and accelerating their growth trajectory, assuming responsibility for all business development initiatives and the company’s financial success.
Christopher J. Yep MS, CRC, LCPC
Throughout his entire life, Christopher has forged an ethical and business savvy character which has guided his vision and entrepreneurial spirit through hard work and a driven sense of mission. Throughout his undergraduate studies, and while working on his Master’s Degree in Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling at nights, he was often found working three jobs including a late night paper route at any given time in order to support himself and his young family. Christopher was in his 30s when he and his wife Mary Anne went into business for themselves. With limited resources, 7 young children, and cashing in their corporate 401K, they wiped the dust from feet which had climbed corporate ladders. Launching what would become the first of many successful endeavors into the Employee Benefits market, his forays into Vocational Rehabilitation were soon followed by expansion in the Worker’s Compensation and Major Medical Insurance markets. Their original concept of creating a business environment where people could be treated as professionals to provide the best service saw immediate growth in their customer base as well as in colleagues who wanted to join their team.. 21 years later, having survived several recessions, and overcome many hurdles, their vision continues to propel TRIUNE Health Group forward, assimilating new service models, developing and perfecting them, finding the best people to belong to their team. Ever the serial entrepreneur and visionary, he continues to launch and build additional service lines under the TRIUNE Health Group corporate umbrella Christopher is the Founder of TRIUNE Health Group, LTD. He, and his wife of over 40 years, Mary Anne, are co-founders of TRIUNE Health Group, LTD.
Mary Anne Yep’s successful career has come among other things from her propensity for and character of leadership, combined with an unparalleled drive for success. She was awarded her BSN from St. Xavier’s University, graduating at the top of her class. Her sharp eye for details, interpersonal excellence, refusal to settle for anything less than the best, and her straight forward march toward challenges and system implementation have continually defined the art of her Nursing and Executive Management career. In her 30s, she and husband Christopher J. Yep launched what would be the first of many successful entrepreneurial endeavors into the Employee Benefit market. It was Mary Anne’s practical eye and fortitude which continues to execute the vision of TRIUNE Health Group, enlightening her responsibility for overseeing personnel, new product launches along with ensuring the culture. While she says her greatest life accomplishment has been her 10 children, those who know her closely also understand the authentic character and hard working woman who stands behind that very orderly and disciplined accomplishment. Her practical approach and selfless service has helped launch and grow numerous services under the TRIUNE Health Group corporation umbrella. Mary Anne is a passionate and humble leader in and outside of the workplace, actively participating in a full portfolio of charities which serve the elderly and underprivileged among other groups.
Stephen L. Sprauer, MS, CRC, CDMS
Manager of Vocational Services
Steve holds a Masters Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from the Illinois Institute of Technology and has been working continuously in the field of Vocational Rehabilitation since 1982. He is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) and a Certified Disability Management Specialist (CDMS). Steve's experience exceeds 30 years. He has personal experience in the handling of Workman's Compensation, Long Term Disability, Short Term Disability, Liability Claims, Department of Labor, Federal Employees Labor Act, Longshore and Harbor Worker's Act cases and he is a contracted Vocational Expert for the Social Security Administration Office of Disability Adjudication and Review. Steve has been the Vocational Services Manager at TRIUNE Health Group since 2006. Steve has presented at various Regional and National conferences and has served on numerous professional committees.
Manager of Utilization Review
Scott Henschell joined the TRIUNE Health Group family in 2013 as our Human Resource Manager. He brings with him a sharp business acumen, which has proven itself time and again in helping serve TRIUNE Health Group and the team members well. Scott is a highly organized individual, who focuses on workforce efficiency. His calm, personal manner and acute listening skills allow him to work with all people and to understand them. In the past year, Scott has also overseen our Utilization Review product which has been both beneficial for his personal knowledge in the industry, and he has made great strides to continue its growth and excellent ROI for our customers. His desire for optimum customer service drives his activities so that all TRIUNE stakeholders are served well.
In his career, Scott has been involved in a successful family business, served as a private school administrator, and oversaw business management operations of three private schools. His accomplishments include restructuring purchasing agreements, unification of a diverse school community, and also served as an interim Executive Director of a private school. Scott and his wife, Jeanne, have 4 children and reside in the suburbs of Chicago.
